Tyre fitter / Labourer (Kinghorn Paint & Alloy Centre)

We currently have a fantastic opportunity. We are looking for a general labourer who wants to be trained up within the Smart Repair Centre to carry out tyre changing and jacking tyres, as well as moving vehicles into and out of the Workshop.

The role is a full time position and the ideal candidates will have an interest in cars and vehicle repairs. Excellent communication and time keeping skills together with a 'can do' attitude and smart appearance are essential to this role.

The Job Role: Mechanical / Bodyshop Labourer
• General Labouring duties removing and fitting tyres
• Jacking the vehicle
• Driving the vehicles into the Workshop
• Learning new tyre fitting skills
• Onsite training and opportunities to advance

Job Experience: The Successful Bodyshop Labourer will have:
• Interest in cars
• Happy to do manual work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
A full clean driving license is required.

Vehicle Damage Assessor / Bodyshop Estimator

Kinghorn Bodyshop are looking to recruit a highly capable, well organised and proactive individual for their Vehicle Damage Assessor vacancy.

As part of a team of professionals you will undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and time frames. An important aspect of this job is to identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates.

You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated. You will also effectively liaise with customers, engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.

This will be a customer facing position so fantastic communication skills with both other team members and especially customers is vital. You must deal with both in a professional and courteous manner.

Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence as well as experience in the accident repair environment. We will help and support you with the rest.
